occupational therapy opportunities in Thailand

hello

I am an OT based in the UK with a lot of experience working in mental health settings. I am planning on moving to Bangkok, Thailand, as my partner has a teaching job there. I am keen to continue practicing/using my OT skills whilst there, possibly working in other specialism or thinking about working with the charity sector.

Has anyone worked here, or have any contacts ideas of services etc in Bangkok?

I am open to volunteering as well and keen to utilise skills and experience.

Thanks

Re: occupational therapy opportunities in Thailand

Greetings, Everyone:
Thanks for your posting about resources and connections in Bangkok - are there OTs in Bangkok/Thailand who may have some wisdom to share?

Best wishes,
Lorie

Re: occupational therapy opportunities in Thailand

Hi,
I am an OT from Australia, with a background in adult, physical rehab, community health, & acute settings. I'm moving to Chiang Mai, Thailand mid year, & I found this thread! I thought I might try to get the information rolling again, & wondered if Piprew above has gleaned any useful OT resources/contacts for Thailand??
Thank you
