Recourse for OT assessments in Africa

Hello,

I am an occupational therapist working with International Diagnostic Solutions - an online special education and therapeutic support provider based in the United States working with families around the globe.  I am currently working to increase our referral list around the globe for families we meet through our work with schools to help them find skilled clinicians who provide assessment services.  Many of our families live in remote locations without skilled assessment providers. We are hoping we can support these families by building a database of experts who can help them understand issues that their children are facing in the schools and communities through skilled and thorough assessment services.

I am looking for therapists who assess children in Africa who are interested in taking part in our database.

If you are interested, would love to learn more about your services and add you to our list of assessment resources for families i.

Please feel free to email me with any questions, as well.

All information and assistance is greatly appreciated.
Thank you.

Pia, I am a retired OT but have worked and lived in Africa and assessed African families in the rural areas of Malawi. I am certainly interested in helping in any way that I can  by answering any questions you may have etc.

Hi everyone
My name is Bongi and I am a qualified OT based in the UK with over a year experience working as a clinician in the Elderly Rehabilitation unit. Trained OT in the UK. I would like to work for NGO in Africa particularly in the West, Central and Southern parts of Africa. Any information to help me establish the post in Africa is welcome as my aim is to work with less privileged countries to promote OT.
