Hello all!
My name is Ann and I am an OT who currently resides in the United States. I currently work in an acute rehabilitation hospital /short term rehab, primarily on the neurovascular and brain injury units. I am hoping to temporarily relocate for about a year to work in Ireland. Any tips on how to get the process started or if anyone was in a similar situation and would like to share their experience that would be great too!
Thanks 🙂

Hi there. I'm in the US as well and have plans to practice in Ireland at some point. It'll take a few year since I'm finishing up my MSOT program and I want to work in the states first but I found this YouTube video a while back during my research which might be of some help:

Here is the website where you can start your application for Ireland to recognize your credentials:

It can take several months. The person in the YouTube video said it took 4 months and was initially rejected due to some paperwork missing. Be organized in your approach and you should be fine.

Good luck! =)
