Addiction disorders and recovery

Hello! I am an OT Student about to start writing my dissertation proposal. I wanted to focus on the ways in which OT's support people with addiction disorders, specifically how long term group interventions impact recovery. If there is anyone with experience in the area of addiction disorders and recovery that wouldn't mind sharing their stories or give some reading suggestions I would greatly appreciate it 🙂

I have been an OT for about 6 years and about half of my clinical experience is with mental health and substance abuse. If you would like to talk more about this topic, please let me know!
