Hello! I'm a swedish occupational therapist with a bachelors degree and roughly 1 year of experience in clinical settings. I was thinking about doing an exchange year during my education but due to covid I had to postpone my plans and pivot. So now I am finally looking for some new experiences as an OT in another country. If I am correct I might need a masters degree to work in the US so I might be looking for a job as an OT assistent instead.
So now I'm reaching out to find global colleagues whom can shed some light on how it might work abroad, especially in Australia and the US. Is it easy to find work? Are there any tests that I need to pass? Common benefits? Anything else I need to know?
