Hello, I am a recently retired pediatric OT who has been in communication with a pediatric clinic in Kashmir, India. They are seeking a number of things including therapists who could share information and resources with them, any individuals or organizations that may be interested in visiting their clinic and offering any assistance, and programs that might offer a sponsorship or program that would allow one of their staff members to visit another clinic outside of India. Unfortunately, they do not have a budget so are looking for resources with little or no cost. Any information or ideas are appreciated.

Greetings from Kashmir.
Hope you all are well and in good health. I would like to inform you all, I am from kashmir india I am a Paediatric Rehab Therapist and professional Social worker (MSW). I have been working for special needs kids for the last 10 years. A few months ago I met OT Joan Schlichting maam she helped me a lot and discussed some cases whenever I needed help.
I want to inform you all in our kashmir we have more then 1 lakh children with special needs but we have no resources like Rehab centers, CDCs, inclusive education schools and parents are very much depressed because schools don't allow special children in the mainstream. We have very limited only a few therapists, OTs, Rehab, speech therapists and parents of special need are struggling for treatment for their kids. Most of the kids miss Early intervention and without education.
Now I request you all please kindly support and help,if anyone knows any university who will offer sponsor online MSC OT after MSW social work or any OT course so that we will study and be able to help special need kids in kashmir india.
I am also looking for experienced therapists OT, PT speech across the world who will start online discussion cases mentor etc. if anyone is ready to travel as a volunteer in kashmir and help special need kids and their families. I am looking for any organization NGO in the USA, Germany , UK etc who will help me to visit their organizations so that we will see how you work and help special need kids in your country and learn.
