Volunteers Needed for Research Study Examining the State of Occupational Therapy Practice Related to Pain Management
Audience:
Seeking current occupational therapy practitioners (either OT or OTA) who address acute and chronic pain with individuals on your caseload. You must be 18 years of age or older and be able to read and write in English.
Research Subject
The purpose of this study is to examine the current occupational therapy practitioners’ knowledge and practice related to the management of pain with clients across the lifespan.
Brief Introduction & Description:
- If you agree to participate this study, you will be asked to complete a 15- minute anonymous electronic survey about your knowledge and practice related to the evaluation and treatment of pain among clients.
- There are no direct benefits to you to participate, but the results of this study can potentially influence the occupational therapy profession’s practices and educational standards related to the evaluation and treatment of pain with clients.
- Potential risk includes a potential loss of time and loss of confidentiality of survey in an electronic format. You may stop your participation at any time by clicking out of the survey. In addition, no identifying information will be collected within the survey. All deidentified data will be stored on a password protected Google Drive that only the researchers will have access to.
