Working in Japan

I am currently getting my masters in OT and would eventually like to work in Japan, once I gotten comfortable working as an OT, learn the language and etc. I just want to know what are the requirements in order to work in Japan as an OT. Is a masters degree too low or too high? A professor told me she couldn't work in another country because that country had a bachelor and hers was a masters degree. Or does that depend on the country?

Hello, I'm an OT in Japan.
In Japan, you don't need a master's degree, but have to pass the national occupational therapy examination to be a licensed occupational therapist. Once you pass and get the licence, you don't need to renew or anything to keep it.
