My name is Cathleen, and I’m a seasoned occupational therapist with a background in geriatric services (8 yrs) and community mental health. After 12 years working in mental health, I felt the need for a new challenge and was encouraged to pioneer the role of OT within the Maltese correctional facilities. This is a significant and exciting new venture not just for me personally, but also for the OT profession here in Malta (EU).
I am exploring the possibility of mentorship as I embark on this journey. Having guidance from someone experienced in this field would be invaluable in helping me establish effective and meaningful services within the Maltese prison system.
