My name is Brenda TAM, a PhD student at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU). I am conducting research that aims to establish a consensus on the definition of EF and to identify functional tasks appropriate for evaluating EF in children. It has received ethical approval from PolyU (Ref: HSEARS20250826005). Please refer to the enclosed Information Sheet for more information of this study.
I am looking for experts to participate in this study, if you are a researcher with at least three publications in the field of EF, or a clinician with at least three years of experience in treating children diagnosed with ADHD. Experts will complete a short online survey, where you will be asked to rate various functional tasks based on the level of assistance required, their importance, and the likelihood of children performing them. The survey can be accessed here: https://forms.office.com/r/98NCgWgwjE
Your participation is entirely voluntary. All responses will be treated with strict confidentiality and used solely for academic purposes. If you have any questions or require further clarification, please feel free to contact me.
You are also welcome to recommend peers who meet the inclusion criteria and whose insights may further enrich this study. I would be grateful if you could kindly share their contact information with me.
Thank you very much for considering this invitation. Your contribution would be deeply valued and will play a significant role in advancing our understanding of Executive Functioning in children.
Kind regards,
Brenda TAM
