Good morning all,
My name is Georgia, and I am a Trainee Clinical Psychologist at The University of Exeter in Devon, UK. For my thesis (Doctorate in Clinical Psychology), I am conducting an international Delphi study to explore the conceptualisation and assessment of anosognosia after stroke. I hope to examine consensus on these concepts and lay the foundations for further research to improve the assessment and intervention frameworks for post-stroke anosognosia across clinical and research practice.
We are recruiting internationally, to invite multi-disciplinary clinicians and researchers working in stroke care and rehabilitation to form our expert panel. We are hoping to reach professionals across occupational therapy, psychology, speech and language therapy, physiotherapy, medicine, and related fields.
If you have experience working with stroke patients or have published stroke-related research, I’d love to hear from you. The study will involve completing 3 short online surveys asking about your perspectives, and £5 will be donated to The Stroke Association for every participant who completes all 3 surveys. The study has received ethical approval from the University of Exeter’s Psychology Research Ethics Committee.
If you are interested in taking part, follow this link to express your interest and complete a brief screening survey - https://lnkd.in/ep5vBjXP .
You can also contact me at gw537@exeter.ac.uk to express interest or ask any questions.
Thank you for taking the time to read this post, and for your interest in my research. Your expertise will help shape future clinical assessment and intervention in the field of stroke care and rehabilitation long-term.
Best wishes,
Georgia
