OT part-time/volunteer opportunities in Bodrum, Turkey Summer 2018

I recently was offered an opportunity to travel abroad from the US to Bodrum, Turkey for the summer (June-August). I am a licensed therapist working in acute care in Dallas, Texas currently, but I have a dream and passion for working abroad at some point and/or also working with human trafficking survivors. Does anyone know of such opportunities in the Bodrum area?? This would be my 3rd extended stay in the area, but now as a licensed therapist. I have a wide knowledge base working in physical/holistic rehabilitation with cardiovascular/pulmonary illness/injury, oncology, spinal cord injury, medically complex/intensive critical care, organ transplant, nephrology, orthopedic, and neurology populations.

Greetings Shelby, I lived in Israel for several years and have contacts in Istanbul, Turkey. I would suggest visiting the area where you are going to be working as an OT before moving there. I am fluent in Modern Hebrew, but you will need to learn some Arabic phrases for the locals. I have spent hundreds of hours working with human trafficking victims and refugees. Thank you so much! The locals speak mostly Turkish and English in this region (to my luck!). Bodrum is located on the southwest border, closer to the Greek islands, so many Europeans also come to the region for holiday. It's a unique experience; I've always loved it and the history/culture. Istanbul is much more conservative, though any assistance would be appreciated if your Istanbul friends know anyone in the Bodrum area.
