Twitter #OOFRASchat about practice with displaced people each month

Colleagues, wasn't World OT Day was so encouraging!

What a display of 'celebrating our global community' with messages from many countries, practice areas, aspiring students and veterans of the profession alike.

To foster global connections into the future, the @OOFRAS Twitter account was 're-booted' ready to host a practice focused #OOFRASchat on Twitter each month.

The purpose of this learning exchange is to develop the knowledge and networks you need to provide safe and ethical occupational therapy services with people displaced by war and persecution.

Upcoming topics

5 November 2018: Disability – how does it intersect with displacement?
3 December 2018: Language matters – how to work with interpreters?
4 January 2019: New year, new direction – how to prepare for work with refugees?

More information

Time: 8:00pm (AEST +10) 1st Monday each month (currently time is AEDT +11 for daylight savings)
