Developing OT in another Country

Hello,

My name is Ani and I a recent graduate from OT school in the U.S. I am planning to go to Armenia for several months early next year. I would love to hear from others who have done international work what the best way is to advocate for disability rights in another country, and how to start to develop the OT profession. OT, or ergotherapy, is a very new profession in Armenia. Where should I begin? Who should I contact?

Hello - I'm assuming you are already connected with Therapists for Armenia (a group of US- and Canadian-based OTs and STs helping to support OT development in Armenia through service work) - but if not, I can easily connect you.
