We seem to be overwhelmed by humanitarian crises. More than two years of responding to COVID-19 and its variants with our best scientifc knowledge and skills has left us feeling depleted. Wars and conflicts create a great sense of outrage in the face of human suffering. What cn we do?
I am Kit Sinclair. I have been WFOT disaster management project lead since the Aisan Tsunami hit in December 2014. WFOT has produced manuals, online courses, and direct responses for members organizations and Individual Members who seek help or wish to offer their services in response. The WFOT materials on COVID-19 response are primarily available in a special repository specific to the pandemic on the WFOT website. There is another forum to address ways forward.
On this forum, we open out to more sharing of information, questions and personal experience of humanitarian response to crisis, both natural and man-made, We look forward to hearing from you.
