Advice needed: German accreditation/work experience

Hello all!

My name is Ricardo, I am now on my second and final year of my masters degree from the UK and I am planning on moving to Germany after my studies.

I was wondering if anyone has had any experience with the accreditation process that they wouldn't mind sharing? It all seems very complicated, lengthy and expensive so I just wanted to pick someone's brain to try and get my head around it.

Also, if anyone has any experience working in Germany and are happy to share, I would really appreciate it! I want to get as much information as possible before moving next year.

Hi Ricardo, if you still happen to wonder about the recognition / accreditiation process in Germany, here's a helpful link provided by the German government:

The tricky thing is, you need to know in advance WHERE in Germany you want to work. Each German federal state has it's own regulation (no surprise). Remark: One major requirement is, you'd have to know German (https://www.goethe.de/en/spr/kup/prf/prf/gb2.html)
